BBQ a hit for hungry swimmers!
Our
BBQ has been a great hit in the last few meets with healthy snacks and
sausages and hamburgers feeding the hungry hordes. We will be having it
every meet from 6.45pm on and again there will be free beer, wine and
champagne for adults. All welcome.
Race nights The races have become even more streamlined and our marshals are looking great in their new polo shirts. Improvements are continuing to be introduced with every meet with new race marshalling systems. We now also have a computerised race results system which
gives us the results straight after the meet concludes. The results are
published on our website and can be viewed at Results. Great fun racing experience in all strokes over 25,
50, 100 and 200 metres as age appropriate. |
Word
from the Head Coach “Always bring 2 sets of goggles, a good sized drink
bottle, and good healthy food. Never breathe on the first stroke off any
wall in freestyle and fly. Always finish freestyle races by not breathing
in the last 5 metres and always finish on a full stroke in fly and backstroke.”
Congratulations to our first Swimmer Of The Month James (Messo) Messenger, Well Done!!! James has been representing the club and smashing his PB's all over the State. He wins a $30 gift voucher.
