Take note Note that the meet on Friday, November 25 will be the last for (calendar) 2005, with club racing resuming on Friday 3rd of February 2006. Also note that the NSW Metropolitan Championships have been deferred from the traditional December date to early March next year due to the Commonwealth Games. |
Lane Cove SC Invitational Meet
A total of 15 PB's were set in the October 15 meet, and our swimmers really lifted in our Scots College invitational meet, where our swimmers set an incredible 47 PB's. Admittedly a number of our younger swimmers were competing in long course format for the first time, but it was still a superb effort. With all these great performances, achieving Swimmer of the Month was going to be something to be very proud of. Luke Aldous nearly achieved it, gaining a total of 21 race points. Tom Mahony came even closer with 23 race points. However they couldn't catch Poppy Aldous who came home with 25 race points and thus got the award ! Well done Poppy - a terrific achievement !
