SWIMCLUB UPDATE

Good luck to all our racers at the Speedo Sprints on Sunday!

Our next club race night for 2006 is on tonight with racing starting at 6.30pm. The calendar for the next few months is extremely busy with external carnivals for the clubs stronger swimmers. There are also all the school carnivals for a lot of kids still to come so turn up tonight for your dose of race experience.

For tonight please try and make sure you get to the centre by 6.15pm to warm up and to finish registration by 6.25pm. As always, the BBQ will be operating for hungry swimmers and their families and there will also be free beer and wine for the parents. Any donations of beer and wine will be greatly appreciated.

The finals are on this Sunday at Homebush. As noted in the last newsletter, our club had some fantastic results in the heats a few weeks ago. Please note that warm up under the guidance of head coach Steve Garner starts at 7.45am at Homebush. It is important that you are there on time.
Don't forget to wear your club (racing) T shirt, and go C&P !

Membership fees for 2005/06 are now overdue and swimmers need to join or renew to swim at the next meet . There are very serious insurance issues if a swimmer races in our club without being financial. Accordingly we have to insist that each swimmer is paid up before being allowed to compete. Go to the website at www.cpswimclub.info to download the application form from the fees page. Failing that see Nish - the man behind the desk at race nights.

Club BBQ

The barbeque will again be operating on Friday nights from 6.45pm, with the complimentary champagne, beer and wine again available to all parents and support crew. Remember that brothers and sisters of the swimmers have free entry so they can enjoy all the facilities of the centre, and have a delicious dinner, while the Race Squad battle out the point score placings!

Gym Membership

A reminder that the centre has a very modern, fully equipped gym, and they have agreed that exclusively for our club there is now a 25% discount on ANY gym membership for Swim Club members' immediate family.

Computerised results

We have a computerised race system which gives us all of the results straight after the meet concludes. These and other results are published on our website and can be viewed at Results.
