New Members:
New members should fill in an application form
and bring it along to race night or return it to the Registrar
at 34 Wentworth Road, Vaucluse NSW 2030 together with the relevant
membership fees. Parents are advised to wait one week before
joining the Club to be sure the young swimmer is happy with
the Club and wishes to become a member and registered. One
parent from each family is encouraged to join (at a non-swimmer
rate) which covers any personal injury that may occur whilst
volunteering around the pool.
Application forms are available on club nights,
by contacting the Registrar or by downloading here:
Fees:
Club membership fees must be paid within two
(2) weeks of the commencement of each season (yearly). In
the case of new members, this is the second week in which
they are competing. Race entries will not be accepted after
the second week unless fees are paid. This fee covers the
registration fee payable to NSW Swimming Assoc Inc and Club
Membership.
Club membership fees for the current
year starting 1 October are as follows:
$70 each for the first swimmer in a family
$50 for the second swimmer in the same family; and
$40 for each subsequent swimmer in the same family
$25 for each non swimmer
(For insurance protection, it is recommended
that parents become non-swimming Club members, particularly
if helping to officiate at the Club's Friday night meets).
There are no weekly race entry fees, however
a $4.40 “Race Night” fee for all swimmers is payable
to Cook & Phillip Park each race night upon entry to the
center.
